Statistical methods have come to play a pivotal role in bioinformatics. My work focuses on statistical and bioinformatics method and software development in molecular biology, especially in genetics and genomics. My research interests are in the following areas:
Statistical and computational methods for molecular data analysis
Comparative genetics and genomics
Computer-intensive statistical methods
Integration of heterogeneous biological data types
In addition to my own work, I am involved in a number of scientific collaborations.
