This directory contains BOXSHADE 3.3.1
  BOXSHADE is a program for creating pretty output of
  mutiple aligned protein/DNA data.
  see boxshad3.txt for more details

3.3.1 is the first available C version.

Currently, a file containing the source code, together with
MS-DOS executable is available. The source code should compile
under all flavours of UNIX, using an ANSI C compiler like gcc
